Dr. Monchik is one of the founding surgeons
in our practice. He is a Board Certified surgeon and a fellow of the American
College of Surgeons. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh
and completed his surgical training at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center.
He completed his fellowship through Harvard Medical School at Massachusetts
General Hospital. He spent two years in the U.S. Air Force as a surgeon before
entering into private practice in 1974. In addition to general surgery, Dr.
Monchik also has extensive experience with the treatment of breast disease
as well as pacemaker implantation and replacement. He is licensed to practice
medicine in Massachusetts and is available at our Fall River office. He is
on the medical staff at Charlton Memorial and St. Anne's Hospitals. He is
a member of the New England Surgical Society and the Massachusetts Medical
Society. |
