Dr. Eardley is a Board Certified general surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University in 1982. He spent three years as a surgeon in the U.S. Navy before joining our practice in 1990. Dr. Eardley performs all aspects of general surgery. He also performs advanced laparoscopic procedures including gastrointestinal, gallbladder and hernia surgeries. His interests include surgical diagnosis and treatment of breast disease and cancer including minimally invasive stereotactic breast biopsy. He also performs gastrointestinal endoscopy. Dr. Eardley is licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and is available at offices in Fall River and Portsmouth. He is on the medical staff at Charlton Memorial, St. Anne's and Newport Hospitals.
